2024 FALL RECRUITMENT
Applications are CLOSED for Fall 2024
OBG holds a recruiting cycle and an open meeting each term, providing students with the opportunity to join the group.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
OBG seeks curious, hardworking students eager to join a skilled team at the forefront of emerging technologies. The ideal candidate has strong analytical and creative abilities, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is open to feedback. They should be passionate about learning, mentoring peers, and contributing to the success of the team. Candidates must also understand that OBG is a significant time commitment and should assess their availability before applying.
NEW MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
New members must attend and actively participate in our 6-week educational course, which covers the fundamentals of blockchain. Classes are held every Tuesday at 5 PM in the LCB, and attendance is mandatory. While participation in the main meetings (at 6 PM) and social events is optional, new members are encouraged to attend. At the end of the term, members will complete either a comprehensive exam or a mini deliverable to demonstrate their knowledge, which will be presented to the management team. Upon successful completion, new members will begin contributing to various branches of the group in the following term.
