NEW MEMBER REQUIREMENTS
New members will complete a 6-week introductory term focused on Blockchain 101. Successful completion of this term, including passing the end-of-term assessment, is required to continue and be placed into one of the group’s branches (Consulting, Venture Capital, Research) in the following term.
Course Requirements:
Course Title: Blockchain 101
Schedule: Wednesdays at 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM in-person from Week 3 to Week 10
Attendance: Mandatory attendance and active participation
Assessment: End-of-term written evaluation
Upon passing the assessment, new members will be assigned to a branch and begin contributing to the group’s work.
ADMITTANCE TIMELINE
3/10 - Applications Open
Students will submit an online application that includes a resume, cover letter, and a few short answer questions.
4/15 - Open Meeting
Join us Tuesday, April 15th at 6 PM in Lillis 232 for our OPEN MEETING! Everyone is welcome. Listen to an OBG token pitch, hear from an alumnus, and get answers to any questions you have about the group. We look forward to seeing you there!
4/16 - Applications Close
Please ensure to submit the complete application, including a resume, cover letter, and the short answers, by midnight. If you run into any technical difficulties, email uo.blockchain@gmail.com ASAP.
4/19 - Interview
A member of the management team will contact all applicants directly. Those selected for the INTERVIEW round will receive further instructions at that time. Interviews typically last 1 hour and include both technical and behavioral components.
